Are your hot sauces all-natural?At East Coast Sauces, we try to bring you the best small-batch hot sauces, made with natural, cool stories and fresh, bold flavors. Our sauces are crafted without artificial preservatives, dyes, or extracts—just pure, quality ingredients. One of our sauces uses Xanthan Gum to help stabilize it and get the right consistency. From our studies, this ingredient is demonized and shouldn't be. Our focus? Flavor. We curate a lineup of sauces that don’t just bring some heat—they’re made to taste amazing and pair perfectly with your favorite foods. cool concept, right?

My sauces looks different!Since all of our sauces are all-natural and made in small batches, you might notice some variations in texture and color from bottle to bottle. That’s just the beauty of real ingredients! What’s Normal To See? Separation – We skip the stabilizers and emulsifiers, so some sauces may separate, especially the buffalo sauce. Just give it a good, hard shake, and you’re good to go! Color Variation – No two peppers are exactly the same, which means slight differences in color from batch to batch. Like snowflakes, each pepper pod is unique! Thickness – Some of our sauces are on the thicker side (814), thanks to their high fat content—no extracts, just pure flavor. If it’s not pouring easily, give it a good shake and a solid whack on the bottom (ketchup style) to get things flowing. Even warm it up, set it on the counter, pop it in the microwave for a couple seconds, or even snuggle it up against your bare skin. ;)

Should I refrigerate my hot sauce & how long will it last?At ECS HQ in Raleigh, we keep all our open sauces on the counter—But keeping them refrigerated helps them stay fresh and taste their best for longer (usually around a year after opening!). In general, the more vinegar-forward a sauce, the less refrigeration it needs, but keeping your bottles chilled always extends their shelf life—especially since our sauces are all-natural with no artificial preservatives. But they do not need to be refrigerated and if you go through them like us, they won't make it to the fridge.
